Busy day today, but managed to get a start on  Dunluce Castle. No promises as to when I finish it, though.

One of the tmost evocative ruined castles now, Dunluce Castle on the northern coast.

New castle is up – Killua Castle, home of the Chapmans, the most famous member of whom was illegitimate scion Lawrence of Arabia.

Potatoes, Lawrence of Arabia and deliberately gothic architecture. Fun for all the family.

Ideas cogitating. Might do a castle for the rest of the week to clean the mind out.

And research suggests itself. Think I need to find a good book about kids raised by wolves.

The signs of a good idea, I think, is the large number of second order ideas you can pull out of it. Having a lot of fun with this so far, will be interesting to see how far I can take it!

The really fun thing about writing is when you get an idea, and tug on the end of it, and it just keeps coming and coming and coming…

Anyway. Still churning out ideas for background for the next novel. Fun.
