Today was a girl attempting to avoid an embarrassing social situation by escaping through the toilets. We’ve all been there.

Gambling is a sin, so I’m told. But even more so, it’s a weakness. And weakness, I am afraid, is not permitted.

Two more chapters planned. The heist is underway.

So the robot religions piece is written! Not going to do anything with it yet, though. I think by the time I need to record it I’ll have enough distance to critically edit it, and then I can add pictures and put it up here once the podcast is live. Fun getting some non-fiction in for once, I’d missed it. Good for a break from the novel.

Okay. Joint cased. Stakes raised. Next chapter, the groundwork as seen from the outside. Then, the heist itself. Which will go wrong of course. Something to look forward to.

Today was some more prep and research for doing an article/guest spot for Dissecting Worlds about robot religion – this time about AI becoming gods. Loads of fun.

The setup for the heist is in place. Next up – the plan. After that it goes wrong, of course.

Today I did some planning for the next mystery novel. I think I’ve a good handle on what it’s going to be about now. Just need to do some mystery design.

Back in Vegas, I guess. I’ll be honest, I am not feeling as excited about this novel as I did originally. I’ll be taking a break in a week or so to try to figure out a framework for the second mystery novel, so I’ll see how that goes.
