I walked along this castle, and inside it 1979.
I was mysteriously drawn to it. For some reason. There had been no plan to be in that vicinity.
I had no knowledge of this story, or the history of the castle.
At a nearby pub, an old local sheanache
heard my last name was O’Boyle and told me the story. For a long time I thought he made it up to amuse the Yank.
