More writing on the next Holmes review. Need to tear the novel chapter to bits on Saturday morning and figure out what I want to do with it.

Today’s Scribbling: Sherlock in Scotland
Having a crisis in the latest novel chapter that requires more brainpower than I have after a twelve hour day, I decided to dive into the next Sherlock. He’s off to Scotland where mysterious deaths and life insurance are going together as they usually do.
Today’s Scribbling: Novel Writing
Wandering down the river, bringing a character from one side of the story over to the other. Also trying to work in Dublin’s most famous bridge, of course.
Today’s Scribbling: Putting The Pips In The Envelope
Today’s scribbling was (due to brain fatigue) the introduction for the next Sherlock review. House of Fear, which is based on Doyle’s The Five Orange Pips. I don’t know when I’ll actually get to it, though. I do want to get back to 1928 Dublin pretty soon.
Today’s Scribbling: Novel Writing
Today I jumped into another chapter with honestly some pretty poor writing. It gets from A to B though, and beyond that is what we have editing for. First Drafts Always Suck.
Today’s Scribbling: Sherlock Holmes and the Pearl Of Death (1944)
Today’s Sherlock review is of The Pearl of Death, which is a fan favourite not only for itself, but also as a crossover with the more standard universal fare of monster movies, in the form of Rondo Hatton as The Hoxton Creeper.
Today’s Scribbling: Finishing off the Pearl
Conclusions are written, and the Pearl Of Death review is complete. Expect it up tomorrow or Sunday.
Today’s Scribbling: Back to Holmes
Today I wrote up a synopsis section for Pearl of Death, and roughed out a Conclusions section. Expect it up here in a day or two.
Today’s Scribbling: Novel Planning
Next chapter planned out! Two plot threads tied off, some skulduggery, some revelations, and some novel research methods exposed. Looking forward to writing it.
Today’s Scribbling: Novel Writing
Three chapters of the new conclusion done! Not entirely sure how many more to go – at least three, possibly more. Still, well on the way through it!
