Today I had planned to write a retrospective of 2012 as seen through my tweets. That was, however, stymied by the fact that my tweets for the year on Twitter only go back to May 28, and I haven’t had the ability to get my tweet archive rolled out to me yet. So that will have to wait.

Instead, I present Lug-Nut In The Machine, a bit of single-draft fiction in the same universe as Cool Dog And The Hex Eye Woman. This one could be considered a bit of a prequel to a currently embryonic novel (the one I tried to write for NaNoWriMo this year). I may rewrite it in a week or two, but in the meantime you can have it raw.
