Another day, another chapter. Right on curve – no double today because of the Dr Who 50th. Double tomorrow, I hope, planning on Tuesday to figure out my direction, and then a straight dash for the Nanowrimo total. Book is far from done!

Just – just! – staying above the curve today. Hoping to get a double in tomorrow to get me safely up above the line. Crappy chapter, but tomorrow one of my characters gets hit by a bus, so that’s something to look forward to.

Not stellar progress today. Headache. Still on top of the curve, but not by much. Hopefully I can hold up tomorrow and then get into some high speed on the weekend.

Short-ish chapter today, but still ahead of the curve. Nine more to go in the nano storm, then onwards to victory through the rest.

Chapters planned all the way up to 27. Plot done way beyond that. Still got loads of threads and at least one deus ex machina set up in my back pocket. I think this one is going to run and run.

Another chapter and a half written, and I’m out of planned stuff. Just in time for tomorrow when I have a class, which means no real time to write. It’s almost as if I planned it that way!

Two-thirds of the way through the 50k for nanowrimo. No real idea of how much story is left. Hopefully, planning will help point the way.

One and a half chapters today, one and a half chapters tomorrow. Leaves me with planning on the night of my class, which works out well. Still got ten chapters to go, and I’m honestly not sure where the story is going, really. Second act in a three-act story is always tricky, and this one seems to have gone into goose-chasing territory. Fun, though.

Work today went on far longer than expected, so I only wrote one chapter. Still making good progress though!

Past the midway point – all downhill from here! Even better, my chapters had been running long enough that when a chapter naturally concluded 500 words early (it turns out one scene of arguing in a warehouse can only stretch to a 1000 words) I had enough slack to keep my average chapter length above the magic 1666. Enough chapters planned to handle tomorrow and Sunday, so I guess Monday may be a planning day.

Just about staying ahead of the curve today. Should be able to gain some ground over the long weekend though. And hopefully plan as well.
