Characters sitting around drinking! It’s almost like writing something set in Ireland again.

Today I did some planning for the next mystery novel. I think I’ve a good handle on what it’s going to be about now. Just need to do some mystery design.

Back in Vegas, I guess. I’ll be honest, I am not feeling as excited about this novel as I did originally. I’ll be taking a break in a week or so to try to figure out a framework for the second mystery novel, so I’ll see how that goes.

Took a break from novel work to do an outline for a piece about robot religions, which will be for Dissecting Worlds in audio form and this site in text form. Not going to write it until after they’ve covered BSG, though.

Today I planned out the next six chapters. Not sure if I’ll go straight into writing them – need to start working on a bit for a podcast, so I might do some initial planning on that tomorrow to get an idea of what I need to research.

Yesterday I designed the perfect vault. Today I figured out how to crack it. Of course, it’ll go off track, but for now it’s a plan.

Today I came up with a totally secure facility. Impenetrable. Nobody is cracking this baby.

Tomorrow I figure out how my heroes crack it.

Reintroducing one character, and planning another. Time to kick into a new set of problems.

Someone blew up, someone went deaf. Finally done with this bit. Now on to the next bit I have to deal with.
