Okay. Tired of fighting this novel. Wrote up to a cliffhanger and now benching it. Gonna do some history as a palate-cleanser, then start in on the chess murder novel.

So utterly jaded with Roland and friends that I have now planned out my next mystery novel. Think I will force myself to finish this one first, though.

More looting. Cracks emerging.

Finally managed to get out of Vegas. I think. Hopefully. I really don’t like this novel any more.

Heisting heroes have got past the guards and made to the vault. I’m sure nothing can go wrong now.

Big fight done. Now down to the Vault.

More fun at the bank, as the guards reveal their true nature and the heroes ace-in-the-hole isn’t quite the winner they thought it was.

Yesterday in Logan Airport I found out that I’m going to have a guest spot on the awesome Dissecting Worlds podcast in the next episode! Gulp. So there and then I brainstormed a bunch of ideas for things to talk about. Couldn’t blog cos plane flight. Then today I did all the research necessary to turn that into two pages of notes. Hopefully that’s enough.

The heist has gone south, as they always do. Time for the ace in the hole to make its appearance. I think.

Today I wrote a logline and a title for the next novel. I think I’m gonna go all Save The Cat on it – the opposite of my approach to the current one. At least I’ll know when it’s going to end.
