Back into the novel, managed to get the head into the game. People figuring stuff out. Awesome.

My favourite Forgotten Empire yet. The lost city of Teotihuacan.

In other words, Teotihuacan. Written up, a bit of an epic. Gonna be a lot of fun getting illustrations, though probably not until Monday.

Or so the Aztecs who stumbled across this great city named it. We don’t know what it was called before. Half written the article, having to break it up due to tiredness. Completion tomorrow.

Somehow I forgot to blog post yesterday, though I did Scribble, and indeed publish that scribbling. The Assyrian Empire.

Today I planned out the next forgotten empire, somewhere on the other side of the world. This one is so forgotten we don’t even know what they were called, or even what they called their great city. Looking forward to writing it.

15 chapters done, 25k word mark. Time to sit down and pull things together again. Secondary plot threads need to start to come into play. Story needs shaking up. Fun fun fun.

I was right, that was fun to write. Put characters in awkward situations and the story writes itself. Or not, as now I need to figure out where things go from here. Might be time to go back to beating it out.

Roughly a third of the way in. New character introduced, and some nice callbacks. Next chapter should be fun to write!

Assyrian empire written up. Probably not going onto the site until Tuesday, though. Three chapters of novel to go through over the weekend instead. Writing is fun.
