The tenth castle! May take a break now, in the meantime I hope you enjoy Malahide Castle.

Irish castles are fun to write about. Even if what I learn is often not about Ireland.

Big castle post, about a Donegal treasure. My favourite castle, and one which has officially ruined me for realistic expectations in housing, Glenveagh Castle.

History is filled with weird little mysteries. And sometimes the places you think you know well turn out to have hidden sides. Lots of fun with this castle, looking forward to putting it up tomorrow.

Over 1300 words in, and the castle hasn’t even been built yet. I suspect this is going to turn out pretty huge.
